We're committed to handing the next generation more than a shotgun. The outdoors, firearm safety, conservation, and how to carry yourself like a champion. Teach a kid to respect the wild and the legacy takes care of itself. Everything below grew out of that one idea.
The Hawkeyes
Our youth sporting clays team, and a registered 501c3. Two-time SCTP national champions. Kids learn the sport from people who've shot it their whole lives, and a handful turn into some of the best young shooters in the country.
Jake's Day
Every year, the week before turkey season, we host the National Wild Turkey Federation's youth day. In 2024 it was ranked the number one youth day in the country. A morning of firearm safety, calling, and time outdoors for kids who might not get the chance anywhere else.
The Envirothon
We hand the property over to the Green County Conservation District for their conservation education program, and the teams that have studied this land have gone on to win national titles. Conservation is not a slogan here. It is something the next generation actually competes in and wins.
Fishing days
Sometimes a legacy is just a kid, a rod, and a family member on the bank. Our fishing derbies are the easiest way in, no experience and no gear required, just a morning worth remembering.
